Barcelona Beach
Barcelona city has a long coastline resulting in
many beaches namely the Barceloneta beach, San Sebastia
beach, Nova Icaria beach, Bogatell beach, Bogatell
beach, Nova Mar Bella beach and Llevant beach. Among
the beaches, Barceloneta beach and Nova Icaria beach
are more popular among both tourists and locals alike.
Barceloneta beach is connected to Port Olimpic and
Port Vell and is an excellent place to go to look
for fresh seafood in the Barcelona. Grab some of the
tapas in the restaurats or cafes and keep a lookout
for the tapas la bomba (the bomb), a spicy local favourite.
Massage services, food and drinks on the beach are
avaliable for small fees. Barceloneta beach can be
reached via Barceloneta or Ciutadella Vila Olimpica
metro stations.
For visitors looking for paranomic view of Barcelona
city, take the cable car or Teleferico
Montjuic to Montjuic mountain from the cable towers
at the top of Jaume I Tower near the World Trade Center
at Barceloneta or the tower on Sant Sabestia beach.
Keep a lookout for beautiful bodies along the beaches
as although there are no official nudist beaches in
Barcelona, there are plenty of sunbathers who are
looking for more complete tans There is also an unofficial
nudist beach in Barcelona which is supposedly in one
of the more deserted beach mentioned above.
