Casa Batllo

 

Similar to Casa Mila, Casa Batllo was designed by Gaudi for residential purposes. As with any design associated with Gaudi, it is unique and gothic looking. The building is also nicknamed "house of bones" for the bone like pillars and skull like floors. The arched roof and the cross and turret represnts Sand Jordi trusting his sword into the back of a dragon.

Casa Batllo is located along Passeig de Gracia can can be reached via Passeig de Gracia metro station.Admission fees is 16 Euros and the place is opened from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. daily.
