Casa Mila

 

Casa Mila also known as La Pedrera was built by Antonio Gaudi for a a couple, Rosario Segimon and Pere Mila. It now houses a museum about Gaudi and his works including his masterpiece, the Sagrada Familia. This building is most noticeable for its chimneys and rooftops which is best described as Gaudi's style. Get on top of the roof for a fine view over the Eixample district. It is a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

Casa Mila is located along Passeig de Gracia can can be reached via Diagonal metro station. The entrance fees is 8 Euros and the place opens from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. daily.
