L'Aquarium de Barcelona

 

L'Aquarium de Barcelona is the second largest aquarium in Europe and is located at Port Vell near the Maremagnum shopping mall. It features marine life in the Mediterranean climate. The highlight of this attraction is without doubt the Oceanarium which contain sharks, stingrays and eels as well as other fishes. Visitors will walk through a transparent tunnel as the sea animals swim above them in the Oceanarium.

L'Aquarium de Barcelona opens at 9.30 a.m. daily and closes at 9 p.m. on weekdays. On weekends, closing timing is at 9.30 p.m. There is also extended closing hours of 9.30 p.m. for the months of June and September and 11 p.m. for the months of July and August. You can reach the aquarium via metro stations Drassanes or Barceloneta.
