la Ciutat
To understand medieval Barcelona under the Romans,
visit Museu d'Historia de la Ciutat where there is
an underground excavated site of Roman ruins. Together
with some decent explanation of how the former Roman
colony would have looked like, this is definitely
one for the history buffs.
Entrance fees for Museu d'Historia de la Ciutat is
4 Euros while opening hours are 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
and 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. from tuesdays to saturdays in
October to May and 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. from tuesdays
to saturdays in June to September. The musuem is opened
on sundays from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
The nearest metro station is at Jaume I.
