Museum Picasso
Housed in a couple of medieval palaces in La Ribera,
Museu Picasso contains one of the largest collections
of Pablo Picasso works. The museum exhibits are arranged
according to the chronological order of Picasso's
life. Many of the exhibits were donated by Picasso
himself while others were donations. Picasso himself
chose Barcelona as a venue for his art museum due
to his connections with the city.
The museum is highly popular with tourists and is
opened from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. from tuesdays to sundays.
Entrance fees are 6 Euros and the nearest metro station
is Jaume I.
