Gran Teatre del Liceu
Gran Teatre del Liceu (Catalan) or Liceo (Spanish)
is Barcelona's beautiful opera house. Originally built
in 1837, it was rebuilt a couple of times before reopenng
in 1999. It is now equipped with modern facilities
and is one of the largest opera house in Europe. The
theater can be reached via Las
Ramblas with tours avaliable from 10 a.m. to 1
p.m. daily at 6 Euros.
Get off at Liceu metro station to reach the theater
directly.
