Torre Agbar
Torre Agbar or the Agbar Tower is a massive skyscrapper
located at Placa de les Glories Catalanes in the Sant
Marti district bordering Eixample district. The 144.4m
comercial tower was constructed in 2005 and belongs
to the Agbar Group. The uniquely shaped tower illuminates
lights thorugh LED luminous devices and is a sight
to behold at night.
Torre Agbar can be reached via the metro station
Glories.
Other than Torre Agbar, there is a flea market, El
Encants located next to Glories metro station. It
opens from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. on mondays, wednesdays,
fridays and saturdays.
